Questions about MCT Orbit
Is Orbit only a project management tool?
No. Project management is one part of the concept. Orbit is being designed around business execution: the connections between people, projects, time, budgets, meetings and performance.
Is it only for engineering companies?
No. Engineering and industrial teams inform the starting point, but the intended users also include professional services and other organizations that coordinate people and project work.
Will Orbit replace accounting software?
The budget direction focuses on project budgets, labor costs and planned-versus-actual visibility. Accounting, payroll, tax and financial-compliance functions are not promised.
How is Orbit different from VoltCAD?
MCT Orbit focuses on business execution and work management. VoltCAD is MCT Nexus’s separate electrical engineering software initiative. They address different workflows.
