MCT Nexus approaches mechanical and rotating equipment as part of a coordinated machine. A motor, pump, gearbox or driven assembly has to fit the required duty, connect to its electrical and control system, and behave correctly during operation and recovery.

Our machine-building and integration scope brings those interfaces into one project definition. Mechanical selection, fabrication responsibilities, mounting requirements, guarding and service access are coordinated with the electrical and controls package. Where a specialist equipment supplier is involved, its operating limits and installation requirements become design inputs.

Equipment and interfaces to consider

Motors and driven assemblies

The required load, movement, speed range and duty guide the equipment package. Motor and drive choices are checked against the mechanism and the available electrical supply. Controls define operating permissions, speed commands, running feedback and how equipment status is presented to the operator.

Pumps and circulation equipment

Pump integration connects the fluid-duty requirements to electrical control and process feedback. We coordinate commands, permissives, availability and fault indication with the supplier’s equipment information. The machine sequence must account for upstream and downstream conditions rather than assuming a running motor confirms the required flow.

Gearboxes and motion transmission

Gear ratios, couplings, shafts and driven elements influence how a command becomes movement. Mechanical design responsibilities and supplier limits are established before the controls are finalized. Position references, rotation direction and operating range must be consistent with the electrical and software package.

Fans, blowers and auxiliary equipment

Auxiliary equipment may need to run before, during or after a machine cycle. The project defines that relationship and any feedback required to confirm operation. Maintenance access, operating duty and the consequences of unavailable auxiliary equipment are considered with the machine’s process requirements.

Conveyors and transfer mechanisms

Transfers require agreement between physical movement and control-state information. Part detection, destination availability, movement confirmation and recovery are defined with the mechanism. For a new or modified transfer, we review how it connects to adjacent stations and how maintenance can identify a stalled sequence.

Existing equipment and upgrades

A retrofit begins with an inventory of the installed mechanism, motor, drive and feedback devices. We determine which interfaces must be preserved and where controls changes depend on mechanical work. Any specialist inspection, alignment, balancing or repair requirement is assigned explicitly in the project scope.

Define responsibility at every interface

Start with the required movement or process duty, the equipment arrangement and the available site information. The project scope identifies mechanical design, fabrication, supplier equipment, electrical work and software responsibilities. This gives the customer a clear boundary for the portion of the machine MCT Nexus is delivering.

During build and checkout, the teams verify the installed arrangement against the released information. Commissioning connects equipment checks with the machine sequence and agreed operating tests. Relevant supplier manuals, settings, drawings and spare-part information are collected for the final equipment package.

Define the project scope

This is an equipment-integration and machine-engineering service. Turbine overhaul, rotating-equipment balancing, compressor rebuilding and certified pressure-equipment manufacture are not advertised as established MCT Nexus capabilities. If a project needs specialized mechanical services, those requirements and the qualified delivery responsibilities are agreed before commitment.

Can the scope include supplier equipment?

Yes. Supplier equipment can be incorporated into a defined machine or integration package after reviewing its mechanical, electrical and control interfaces.

Can an existing mechanism be kept during a controls upgrade?

Potentially. Its condition, ratings, interfaces and suitability for the intended operation must first be reviewed with the responsible mechanical team.
