MCT NEXUS SOFTWARE

Engineering & Business Software

Software developed by MCT Nexus to connect engineering information, everyday work and the people delivering it.

Two products. Different workflows. A practical purpose.

MCT Nexus’s software direction now includes VoltCAD and MCT Orbit. Both are in development, with separate product scopes. Explore the problem each addresses and contact us for the latest status.

VoltCAD

Electrical engineering automation for design information, reusable knowledge and engineering workflows.

  • Electrical CAD and schematic workflows
  • Device information, numbering and BOM direction
  • Design reuse and AI-assisted engineering exploration

Product concept. Illustrates the planned scope, not a released application screen.

Project schedules, timesheets, budgets, meeting notes and employee goals often live in separate places. MCT Orbit is being designed to bring those relationships into one business execution platform.

The intended scope goes beyond task management, linking delivery with the conversations, effort and people behind it. It is designed for engineering and manufacturing teams, professional services and other project-driven organizations.

VoltCAD — an engineering automation platform in development.

The experience behind MCT Nexus includes electrical design, controls projects and internal tools connecting CAD information with parts and business workflows. That background highlights recurring tasks: keeping device information consistent, preparing parts lists, reusing designs and preserving the knowledge behind a drawing.

VoltCAD explores how an electrical CAD environment can support those activities. Planned areas include schematic automation, device and terminal numbering, BOM workflows, component information, standards checking, reuse and AI-assisted engineering. These are development directions, not a statement of currently released functionality.

Software services for equipment and production.

MCT Nexus also develops PLC/HMI applications and defined machine-data interfaces for industrial projects. These services have their own engineering scope, separate from the VoltCAD and MCT Orbit product initiatives.

A machine, automation or control-panel project does not depend on purchasing either software product.
